We are a registered, 501c3, non-profit cat rescue organization specializing in finding new homes for displaced cats, specializing in purebred and purebred mix cats. Our goal is to lower the amount of cats brought into shelters every day, which leads to overcrowding, increasing euthanasia rates simply due to a lack of space!
Why purebred cats? A majority of purebred cats have special needs that require their owner to be committed (emotionally & financially) to their care. This is why our adoption process is as rigorous as it is, to ensure each cat finds their life long match! Unlike a shelter or humane society, our cats await adoption in either a foster home or in our custom built cattery where they are free to roam. We vet each cat extensively and provide all the veterinary care the cat(s) need prior to adoption. See our current list of adoptable cats by clicking the link below!
Unforeseen circumstances can lead you to the very difficult decision of surrendering your cat. We know this decision is not easy, and likely you are worried about your cat's future. Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue can alleviate your concerns because we do all we can to place them only in the right home. We have worked with all breeds of cats including; Persians, Himalayans, Scottish Folds, Afghans, Siamese, Bengals, Ragdolls, and more. We network with other purebred cat rescues to help us find the best possible home for your cat. Your cat will await adoption in a foster home, or in our custom built cattery, not a shelter or a cage. They can stay with us as long as it takes until we find them the right home. We created a rigorous adoption process to ensure our cats are placed only in the best possible homes.
Please note that our ability to assist you with your cat(s) depends on space and availability at our cattery or in one of our foster homes . Once you complete the cat surrender form, a member of our team will be in touch with you to discuss our current availability and what the next steps are.
If you see a cat (or two) that you are interested in adopting, you will need to first complete an adoption application. You can easily locate this by clicking the button below which will bring you to our online adoption application. Once we receive and review your application, and we believe you may be a match, we will contact you with the next steps in our process. Please be patient with us as we are an all volunteer organization without staff to help us with this process. It can take 3-5 business days or more for us to respond to your application. Please ensure to check your spam/junk folders a few days following submission, as many times our emails are flagged as spam. If you do not hear from us in 10 or more days following submission, it simply means we didn't believe you were the right match for the cat based upon our matching criteria.
If you are interested in adopting one of our cats please complete our adoption application. You can also visit our adoption FAQs to learn more about our adoption process!
